This ten-member committee, comprising senior bureaucrats from various departments, was given six months to frame these guidelines.

However, as of now, there is no publicly available information confirming that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has commenced work on installing new toilet facilities at maidans following the Lokayukta’s orders.
