On May 7, 2025, India launched “Operation Sindoor,” a series of coordinated military strikes targeting nine terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). - Muridke – Known headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
- Tehra Kalan – Associated with Hizbul Mujahideen activities.
- Sialkot – Suspected logistical base for multiple terror outfits.
In Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK):
- Bhimber – A strategic launch pad for cross-border infiltration.
- Kotli – Known for housing multiple terror training camps.
- Muzaffarabad – A significant operational center for various terrorist groups.
- Leepa Sector – Identified as a staging area for militants.
- Uri Sector – Another key infiltration route into Indian territory.
