Mumbai, August 26, 2025 – The Mahim and Haji Ali Dargahs in Mumbai have jointly launched a 12-day celebration. It marks the 1,500th birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. The commemorations began on Monday with a flag-hoisting ceremony at Mahim Dargah, followed by prayers and community gatherings. The initiative is titled Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi. Organisers announced that the celebrations will continue until September 5.
