A 23‑year‑old delivery executive, Shivam Vinod Tiwari, tragically died by suicide at his home in Bhandup on July 2. Following his death, Bhandup police have booked six individuals—two co‑workers (Sonu Yadav and Chetan Gautam), a friend (Omkar More), and three others (Aniket Ghadi, Ganesh “Dhanraj” Nikalje, and Gautam Dhekale)—for abetment to suicide. The accused allegedly forced Shivam to falsely reject undelivered parcels using his Amazon ID, threatening and harassing him when he resisted. They also pressured him over a ₹30,000 loan from Omkar. With his ID suspended repeatedly, Shivam grew increasingly distressed. His younger brother, Satyam, found him hanging in the home. Police have recorded statements and seized mobile phones as evidence, citing violations under Section 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
