FDA raids wholesale druggist.

As of April 10, 2025, there are no reports of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) conducting raids on wholesale drug distributors. However, there have been recent enforcement actions by other agencies:

  • Panchkula, Haryana, India (March 2025): The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) seized psychotropic and prescription drugs from certain wholesalers. In response, chemists across Haryana halted the sale of these drugs and planned to return existing stocks to distributors. Additionally, all chemist shops in Panchkula announced an indefinite closure starting March 7, 2025, to protest the raids.
  • Houston, Texas, USA (April 2025): The Texas Attorney General’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit conducted a successful raid against an illegal pharmaceutical-grade drug distribution ring in Houston.

These actions reflect ongoing efforts by authorities to regulate the distribution of controlled substances and address illegal activities within the pharmaceutical supply chain.
