Bombay High Court Bandra land case.

The Supreme Court has directed that all petitions and cases concerning the new Bombay High Court building and its associated land be heard exclusively by the Bombay High Court. This decision aims to consolidate all related matters within a single jurisdiction to ensure streamlined proceedings.

Additionally, the Maharashtra government informed the Supreme Court that it will hand over the next tranche of 2.15 acres of land for the construction of the new Bombay High Court complex in Bandra by April 30, 2025. This is part of the ongoing process to allocate a total of 30.16 acres for the project.

The Supreme Court has been actively overseeing the progress of this project to ensure timely allocation of land and commencement of construction. In previous directives, the Court emphasized the importance of expediting the process and avoiding unnecessary delays.
